in recent years, the crisis of space has reached limits of the invisible, leaving large unanswered holes in its wake. as space was shifted from the public to the private to the digital, the question of our unique public space has to be renegotiated and, above all, redefined.

the installation, by julius bentele & mark balint, reflects the subjective location and provides fragmented information about the composition of space. As an urban tool, kompressor is a space to reconnect, calibrate & breath. the installation serves various contexts with its subject matter to draw attention to the uniqueness of immediate spaces.
